Welcome to Columbia Gorge ESD's Department of Technology Services

CGESD Technology Department provides technology support to our component school districts and the individual technology plans of those districts, including but not limited to technology services, distance learning, and professional development for employees who provide those services.

Our component school districts make up a wide area network of 20 buildings in 2 counties.

• Regional Redundant Firewall and Core Routing Services

• Regional Network Connectivity Between Districts

• E-Rate Contracting Services

• Colocation Services

• Network Monitoring and Management

• Premise Wiring Design, Identification, and Testing

• Hosts/Manages Web-based Work Order Management System

• Development and Implementation of Regional Hardware and Software Standards

• CIPA-Compliant Content Filtering and Reporting

• DNS Services

• Server Design, Installation, and Support (Linux, Windows Server)

• Assist Districts with Implementing Disaster Recovery Practices and Procedures

• Access to Organization for Educational Technology and Curriculum (OETC)

• Cybersecurity incident response planning
